Owner John V. Lemonds began in IT in 1997. He had worked for GE Medical Systems, and consulted for Pacific Gas and Electric and Verizon before deciding to leave the corporate world behind and starting up Supportech MD in 2003. John decided that the large corporate atmosphere was too full of office politics and wasted energy and yearned for the family-run small business environment he worked in throughout high school and college.
